To some, SunVox offers hope for music production on Android devices, as detailed herein: "There are a lot of things about the interface that will probably be counter intuitive to someone coming from a more conventional DAW environment but if you've ever used and enjoyed a tracker you will feel right at home, and if you haven't you will find that once you're familiar with some tracker sequencing conventions SunVox has a very efficient work flow with a good balance between depth and usability." The website had the following to say, with respect to the program's interface: The underlying SunVox engine was developed as free software under the BSD License prior to version 1.4. There was also, at one time, a release for Palm OS devices. The desktop versions are freely available for download on the developer's website while a paid version for iOS and Android apps, respectively, is purchasable from those platforms' official app stores. It is available for multiple platforms including Windows, MacOS, Linux on the desktop and iOS, Android in the mobile sphere. No SATNAV or talking dashboards here, the car’s features were limited to those that increased performance like four-wheel disc ABS brakes and a fully independent suspension. An optional hardtop gave it a fixed roof coupe-like appearance. Its top was a manually folding cloth unit that saved weight. In contrast to previous MR2, the final generation was rather basic. It’s only handicap was it looks, while not ugly, it did not inspire long road trips on looks alone. At only 2300lb loaded, the MR2 could scoot to 60 in under 6 seconds when equipped with the 5 speed manual transmission. In fact the MR2’s performance was somewhere between the Miata and Porsche’s Boxter, a good place to be considering that these cars defined performance at their price points. Like the Miata, the MR2’s low weight and well sorted chassis made it fun to drive. Elsewhere in the world, the MR2 was available with as much as 242 hp, but in America it would continue to be offered with 135hp – slightly less than the Miata’s power rating. In addition to lower weight, the engine’s response was aided by Toyota’s slick variable valve timing system called VVT-i. The 1.8-litre engine had only 138 hp, but was lighter than the 1999 car. While still a mid-engine design, it was clearly aimed at the Miata with its more conventional front engine rear drive set up. The new car was characterized by short overhangs that hid the fact that the it had a longer wheelbase than the Miata at 96.4 inches. Then in 2000 the MR2 finally shed its top in an attempt to become more Miata-like. Called the MR2 Spyder in America, it had the distinction of being one of the few mid-engine roadsters on the market and certainly one of the cheapest. And get around it did as it was sold almost everywhere under various names. The Fiero and X1/9 were long gone and the Miata seemed to have the world to itself. While not a convertible, the previous MR2 remained the only low-cost mid-engine car in most markets. It seemed the market was hot for small open top cars, yet the MR2 remained a fixed top coupe for two generations. It quickly became the petro darling of the press while, almost single handily reviving the small roadster category. Around that time the Mazda Miata was blazing a path as a sports car bargain. Its Ferrari-like looks made it easily the most attractive low-cost mid-engine car available (the Fiero faded away before the second gen MR2 appeared). The second was larger and more sophisticated. The first generation car while fun was buzzy and raucous. The MR2 (Mid-engine Rear wheel drive 2 passenger) had settled into the role of no-nonsense sports car. While Pontaic’s car only made it for one generation, the MR2 evolved in three from its 1985 debut. This was not much different from what Pontiac envisioned for the Fiero, but it finally became a sports car just as it was canceled. What started as an ideal for a small economical roundabout in 1976 materialized into a striking show car during the 1983 Tokyo Motor Show. It wasn’t supposed to be one of the best handling bargains out there, but it was. The MR2 was not supposed to be a sports car. One of the anchors now rests in the Musée du Panthéon National Haïtien (MUPANAH), in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. Santa María carried several anchors, possibly six. The timbers were later used to build a fort which Columbus called La Navidad (Christmas) because the wreck occurred on Christmas Day, north from the modern town of Limonade ( see map, and the photograph). Realizing that the ship was beyond repair, Columbus ordered his men to strip the timbers from the ship. With the boy at the helm, the currents carried the ship onto a sandbank, running her aground off the present-day site of Cap-Haïtien, Haiti. The night being calm, the steersman also decided to sleep, leaving only a cabin boy to steer the ship, a practice which the admiral had always strictly forbidden. Then on the return trip, on 24 December (1492), not having slept for two days, Columbus decided at 11:00 p.m. With three masts, Santa María was the slowest of Columbus' vessels but performed well in the Atlantic Ocean crossing. Santa María, being Columbus' largest ship, was only about this size, and Niña and Pinta were smaller, at only 50 to 75 tons burden and perhaps 15 to 18 metres (49 to 59 ft) on deck (updated dimensional estimates are discussed below in the section entitled Replicas). Both were caravel vessels 19 m (62 ft) in length overall, 12.6 m (41 ft) keel length and 5 to 5.7 m (16 to 19 ft) in width, and rated between 100 and 150 tons burden. These include the ballast piles and keel lengths of the Molasses Reef Wreck and Highborn Cay Wreck in the Bahamas. The exact measurements of length and width of the three ships have not survived, but good estimates of their burden capacity can be judged from contemporary anecdotes written down by one or more of Columbus's crew members, and contemporary Spanish and Portuguese shipwrecks from the late 15th and early 16th centuries which are comparable in size to that of Santa María. Niña, Pinta, and the Santa María were modest-sized merchant vessels comparable in size to a modern cruising yacht. All these ships were second-hand (if not third- or more) and were not intended for exploration. The other ships of the Columbus expedition were the smaller caravel-type ships Santa Clara one particular ship sailed for 46 years and was remembered as La Niña (" The Girl"), and La Pinta (" The Painted"). Santa María had a single deck and three small masts. Santa María was probably a medium-sized nau ( carrack), about 58 ft (17.7 m) long on deck, and according to Juan Escalante de Mendoza in 1575, Santa Maria was " very little larger than 100 toneladas" (about 100 tons, or tuns) burthen, or burden, and was used as the flagship for the expedition. Santa María was built in Pontevedra, Galicia, in Spain's North-West region. Her master and owner was Juan de la Cosa. La Santa María de la Inmaculada Concepción ( Spanish for: The Holy Mary of the Immaculate Conception), or La Santa María, originally La Gallega, was the largest of the three ships used by Christopher Columbus in his first voyage across the Atlantic Ocean in 1492. I have seen a cardiologist and they ran me through tests like ECG and 24 hrs halter. I also developed high blood pressure for the first time in my life and it was usually around 150/100 when high. Most of the symptoms cleared up in a couple days but the diarrhoea and heart complications remained. I had a fever, aches, diarrhoea and an odd fast heart rate with a bounding pulse. I have been lurking and reading many helpful posts but was hoping to share my current situation and ask for advice.Īround 2 months ago I got what I thought was the flu. In addition to measuring classic elemental toxins, this profile includes elements used in the medical, aerospace, nuclear, and high-tech electronics industries. This is my first post so bear with me. The Comprehensive Urine Elements Profile offers an advanced, comprehensive assessment of toxic and potentially toxic elements excreted in urine. This is an ideal toxic exposure test for patients suspected of toxic metal exposure as well as potential nutrient mineral wasting. These include classic toxins such as lead, mercury, and arsenic, as well as newer technology toxins such as niobium. The Comprehensive Urine Elements Profile is a toxic exposure test which measures urinary excretion of 15 nutrient elements and 20 toxic metals. As a result, experts suggest breath testing for the diagnosis of small intestinal bacterial overgrowth. While aspiration of small bowel fluid (followed by culture and bacterial count) is considered to be the current gold standard for diagnosis of SIBO, it is not routinely performed because it requires a complex, invasive technique, and is costly. What advantage does the SIBO breath test offer compared to other diagnostics? Symptomatic patients with any underlying conditions or risk factors warrant assessment for SIBO. Risk factors for development of SIBO include structural/anatomic issues, motility disorders, organ system dysfunction, elderly age and various medications (recurrent antibiotics, PPIs) that alter the gut microflora populations. Symptoms of SIBO are non-specific, encompassing abdominal pain/distention, diarrhea, and flatulence.Ĭonditions commonly associated with SIBO include: When should testing for SIBO be considered? Leaky gut has been observed in a range of disorders such as: Enhance the uptake of toxic compounds that can overwhelm the hepatic detoxification system and lead to an overly sensitized immune system.Allow bacterial antigens capable of cross-reacting with host tissue to enter the bloodstream, leading to auto-immune processes.
To rescue a Little Sister, approach her after you have defeated her Big Daddy guardian. To achieve the Best Ending, every single one of the 21 Little Sisters must be rescued. Get the best ending by rescuing ALL the Little Sisters. Harvesting a Little Sister yields 160 ADAM, and saving her will only yield 80, but the gift contains 200. However, if the player chooses the rescue option, the Little Sisters leave a gift for every third child they save. Or they can harvest the slug and claim all the ADAM for themselves, killing the child. Is it better to rescue or harvest Little Sisters? It makes sense that there wouldn’t be any story connections to Burial at Sea since BS2 takes place 10 years after BS1 and BaS takes place even before BS1. It’s assumed to be canon, as we’ve never heard (to my knowledge) anything from Levine stating otherwise. If so, no, as the whole series is owned and published by 2K. Harvesting more 1 little sister = Bad ending – You turn on all the little sisters that saved you and harvest them and then take over the city and use all it’s technology to steal nuclear weapons.
The first Rocky is about a second chance, and so a second chance at a second chance is automatically a matter of diminishing returns. Rocky II presents an interesting conundrum to a series that had previously stated that winning a boxing match isn’t everything. The first four Rocky sequels pick up in the middle of the previous film’s climax. Rocky III embraced that lighter touch and turned it into a positive, albeit slight picture. The difference between Rocky II and Rocky III is very slight, and on any day they could flip-flop, but I rank Rocky II lower because it pushed the franchise in a campier direction. It’s just a shame that the surrounding story doesn’t carry the same wallop. Caple’s boxing matches pack a punch (no pun intended) and make you feel like you’re in the ring with the fighters and feeling every blow. If you’re just looking at this for training montages and boxing matches, then Creed II has you covered. Beyond that, Creed is back to being an angry guy who wants to take on the world, which undoes his character growth from the first movie. While in Creed, we got to see the fallible and human Rocky, here he’s a fountain of wisdom whose greatest fault is that he’s a little too scared to talk to his son. The biggest problem with Creed II is that it loses sight of these being Creed movies and puts the focus back on Rocky in a completely superficial way. You have Adonis Creed as the heavyweight champ, but it turns out that Drago has been hankering for revenge for decades so he trained his son to be the best fighter in the world in the hopes that he could beat up someone Rocky Balboa cares about. Creed IIjust takes the most obvious, bland route every time and so Steven Caple Jr.’s sequel feels rote by comparison. It’s not a terrible movie, but it also has to sit in the shadow of Ryan Coogler’s brilliant Creed. It’s corny as hell and a product of its time, but the fact that it’s so stark in its jingoism and has delightfully dated touches like Paulie’s butler robot and terrible songs like “Hearts on Fire” has made the picture at least memorable. Rocky then gives a wishy-washy speech about how “Everybody can change,” meaning, “You guys can love America because I represent America!” Instead, Rocky takes it upon himself to basically win the Cold War to the point where A) the crowd starts chanting for his name for no reason, and B) even the Soviet leaders in attendance stand up and applaud his victory. The rest of the film is essentially flashbacks and training montages with almost nothing in the way of storytelling or character development. Apollo exists in Rocky IV to die, and that’s a shitty way for the character to go out not to mention lazy motivation for Rocky. In Rocky IV, he’s an arrogant moron who doesn’t seem to train at all, thinks that Drago being bigger will make him slow enough to beat, proceeds to have a dance number before the fight, and then gets murdered in the ring. The one upside of Rocky V’s conclusion is that it opened the door for better Rocky movies, although no one knew that back when they made the series’ nadir. Instead of Rocky gracefully exiting to let a new champ reign, it’s Stallone reasserting that even if it’s not official, he’s the true champion and no one is going to take his crown. It’s a climax that goes against everything the Rocky movies had established, and it’s a clumsy finish to the story. Which makes Rocky V a hypocritical film because Rocky overcomes brain damage to defeat Gunn in a street fight. Once you get arrogant in a Rocky movie, you’re going to lose. Also, Gunn is easily seduced by Duke’s charms and the lure of fame and wealth, which leads to the cardinal sin of the Rocky franchise, arrogance. The emotional honesty is gone, and it’s been replaced by an after-school special where Rocky learns that he should pay more attention to his flesh and blood rather than Gunn, a man who feels no reluctance to share his abusive childhood with the Balboa family when they invite him over for dinner the first time. One new distinctive feature is the silvery reflecting pool, which actually has a barrel cellar beneath it. Since then, the château and operational buildings have been completely renovated. Not long after its completion, the estate’s wine was awarded second growth quality at the Universal Exhibition of 1855. Noted for its Renaissance architecture and witch-hat turrets, the house has been emblematic of the winery ever since. But it was Raoul who commissioned the imposing château we see today.
